| Dinner Theatre / Drama Production
Information: Our next Church Mouse Players' Dinner Theatre performance " TBA " is scheduled for the fall of 2008. For more information go to our What's New section. Tickets to our performances in the past have cost around $15.00. We have historically distributed them from the Oxford Pharmasave as the sole selling outlet who will accept both debit and credit card purchases for us. Their phone number is (902) 447-3700. If you have some information needs that we have ommitted then please contact us. Your input is welcomed. We recently held our spring dinner theatre performance "Me and My Shadow" on Apr 2-5th. Our fall dinner theatre performance "You Can't Get There From Here" was held in November, 2007. The spring production for 2007 was "The Bachelor King". "Tumbleweeds" - was our largest dinner theatre (farce/musical) production. It was held in the spring of 2006. Some other recent productions included "Happily Ever Once Upon" and "The Last Gladiator". All our recent performances have been virtually "Sold Out", some weeks in advance. We also held a Christmas Drama Musical two nights in December, 2004 entitled "The Valley Haven Christmas Show". Admission for that Christmas Production was "Free" as a gift, giving back to our very supportive community.

| Typical Play Preparation
The Church Mouse Players executive committee reads through and chooses appropriate plays with a usual lead time of four months to a full year in advance. We begin casting for our play preparation about three months prior to the play dates. Set construction and prop acquisition can begin at a variety of time frames depending on the complexity and availability of carpenters and decorators. The Acting portion usually has practices twice per week for some 10 weeks on Wednesday evenings and on Sunday afternoons |

Origin of The Oxford Nazarene Church Mouse Players
In 1998, a group of enthusiastic Nazarenes in Oxford and area had an idea. They decided to create a fun not-for-profit church outreach effort through drama. The group is now made up of some 50 plus+ local residents that often attend the Oxford Church of the Nazarene. We normally perform two dinner theatre productions per year. One in the spring and a different production in the fall season. In 2004 we also held a Christmas drama musical production in partnership with our Oxford Nazarene Church Choir. While much of the funds raised must be reinvested to cover our operational
costs. We do periodically have limited resource funds available which we
put back into worthy church and community related activities. We have
established an application, evaluation and approval procedure to expedite
the process. Organizations will be able to apply using our
CMP Funding Proposal Application Form Ver 1.2.
Interested persons or groups can print it off, fill in the information and
